Belonging to a Faith Family

Belonging to a community on the same journey as you can help you understand how you can grow your faith, make new friendships and live your life well together. As you grow a deeper understanding of the bible, you begin to believe it’s truth and learn how you can apply it’s teachings in your life. The bible tells us that living as a follower of Jesus is a life long journey. It takes time to become someone, who is a new creation through faith and trust in the truths the bible reveals. Our hope at The Carpenter’s House, is that your journey with us can lead to an encounter with our Father in Heaven who loves you dearly and belonging to a family who love you as He loves you.

We believe the bible to be the truth; that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus; through that faith we are born again; our identity is found in Jesus; and so beings a new life and new habits.

With this belief and understanding we want to share with you and anyone willing to hear the truth that Jesus is our Hope and our Salvation.

Our church is part of the Assemblies of God movement in New Zealand. Click through to the website to know more about the movement.

Our Pastors

Leadership is more than a position;
it’s the posture of your mind and heart

Hello! We are so glad you are here. We are Daniel and Ivy Vena. We love our life with Jesus, our marriage, and raising our daughters. They are our first church and we enjoy our life together.

We love being a part of a community where we can worship together, grow in our faith, and serve alongside others. Throughout the years, we have served in different roles, such as leading young people, serving in worship and creative teams, growing leaders, teaching and preaching the Word of God. We understand the value of getting involved and how it helps strengthen our personal relationship with God, our marriage and our family life.

As we share our story with you, our hope is that we have the opportunity to share the life-changing message of Jesus to you and show you that a life with Christ is fulfilling and brings joy. Whether it be through our words, actions, or shared experiences, we genuinely desire to point you towards Jesus and the incredible transformation He can bring to your life.

Our prayer for The Carpenter's House is that we will grow together by belonging, believing, and becoming followers of Christ that leads to sharing the amazing hope of Jesus with others.

Under Dan’s leadership, we are believing for many seasons ahead to draw people closer to Him and go deeper in their understanding of who God is. This journey starts with you and your willingness to change your life.

We can journey this together.
